Mental Health Inequities in Communities

The Mental Health Inequities Research unit encompasses a broad range of multi-disciplinary mental health research at the ³ÉÈËBÕ¾ including NIHR funded THRIVE Mental Health Leaders Award, Bipolar Disorders Research, and Child and Adolescent mental health.  

The remit is to undertake impactful, inclusive co-produced research to: 

  • Improve outcomes for those people with severe and persistent mental health issues 

  • Develop and evaluate new ways of working  

  • Addressing inequities in marginalised groups within this community.   

  • Develop research capacity in under-served areas.
