Rashid Mahmood is part-time PhD student in Worcester Business School. 

Rashid’s main research interest is exploring the role of user-generated content (UGC) on social media and brand engagement of the Islamic banks. His PhD research concerns an exploration of the social context of UGC to generated social brand and consumer engagement. He is conducting a qualitative research method to do an in-depth enquiry of the role UGC to create social brand engagement of social media uses.

His supervisors are Dr Wilson Ozuem and Dr Ria Wiid.
