I qualified as a GP several years ago and have been working as a GP in and around Gloucestershire since then. I was a Clinical Teaching Fellow in 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed teaching medical students in this year and from then on, I knew I’d want to teach students in the future. I really valued all my teaching as an undergraduate so it is really rewarding to know I can give something back. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, playing tennis and gardening!

Qualifications

MBCHB 2008
Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals (TLHP) 2012
MRCGP 2015

Teaching Interests

I have taught undergraduate medical students since 2012 at the University of Bristol and have been involved in small group teaching and delivering lectures to whole year groups. I enjoy both but prefer teaching in small groups where I can get to know the students and where the students can also get to know me. I have mainly taught communication skills but have also taught clinical skills, and have been involved in assessments of OSCEs and marking long cases.
